Lovely comfortable apartment with a beautiful view! Very peaceful, relaxing. Hot tub is a bonus. Short drive to Mount Batten to catch ferry over to Plymouth (better than driving around the city, trying to find a car parking space).

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here that was special because of the luxuriously appointed accommodation in an idyllic coastal setting with wonderful sea views. The property is located in a natural landscape, so this accommodation had all the ingredients for a relaxing seaside holiday close to sandy beaches which are accessible by a short, inclined footpath walk. To complement this the City of Portsmouth is nearby with a choice of boat trips, lido and all the amenities you would expect from a major port city. The owners Cliff and Mary were very helpful, gave us useful tips on getting around and places to visit. Finally, we were blessed with unbroken sunshine all week, used the hot tub every day and left at the end of our stay having felt the full benefit of this holiday break.

Cliff and Mary were very friendly on arrival and gave good recommendations for both breakfast and coffee at Cliff view Cafe and dinner at The Mussell Inn. Both had lovely menus and settings. The weather stopped us from exploring the beaches more as after day 2 we had mist the rest of the week. The hot tub was a welcome treat and we all everything we needed provided. Our only suggestion would be to look at the shower area. The shower is very powerful which is lovely but due to the size of the cubicle, it leaks u day the door. It is a small area which makes showering cosy. With that said, we had everything we needed and would recommend the accommodation and location again.
