Cliff and Mary were very friendly on arrival and gave good recommendations for both breakfast and coffee at Cliff view Cafe and dinner at The Mussell Inn. Both had lovely menus and settings. The weather stopped us from exploring the beaches more as after day 2 we had mist the rest of the week. The hot tub was a welcome treat and we all everything we needed provided. Our only suggestion would be to look at the shower area. The shower is very powerful which is lovely but due to the size of the cubicle, it leaks u day the door. It is a small area which makes showering cosy. With that said, we had everything we needed and would recommend the accommodation and location again.

This property is situated in a stunning location. It is well appointed with high end furnishings etc. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.However, it was terrible wet and windy weather and we were cold. No heating was forthcoming when we asked for it, despite it listing underfloor heating as a facility. A heater in the bedroom would have helped.The 3 steps listed actually are 3 lots of steps which were very slippery when wet. The open plan bathroom was ill thought out.If you were lucky to have fine weather and to be agile, it would be a wonderful place to be, but this was not our experience and we came home 3 days early.

Would be a great holiday accommodation if you still wanting public interactions. We was looking for a bit more of a private place didn’t realise the owners lived above. Was a few check ins, one occasion was the guy coming to bedroom door (was open) and pop he’s head in. Luckily I was under the quilt. - but he came to the bedroom door to initiate conversation about the arsenal game. We found the couple very friendly but too friendly for us.the sofa wasn’t the comfiest, would recommend a pouffe to go with sofa to accommodate comfort. The shower is also very small and no shelf for products in shower.Also shower tends to leak water at the bottom of door.The WiFi really isn’t the best, but again perfect holiday if you just wanted to switch of or don’t have anything or anyone to stay in touch with. Hot tub is lovely touch, but again no privacy around it, it’s below owners window so didn’t feel very private.Would recommend a canopy to cover.There’s not much to do locally other then boat trips to Cornwall. Which we did and it was a good trip! So would recommend that.
