The Old Church School is located in the older historic part of Plympton close to St Elizabeths Hotel and wedding venue, just 10 minutes from the A38 making exploring the whole south west region very accessible. This delightful holiday cottage adjoins the owner’s home and is ideal for couples looking for a quiet yet convenient location or for those with young children, as the property backs onto the ancient ruin of Plympton Castle and the castle green, which has a small children’s play area. The property features a BBQ/fireplace in the south-facing courtyard garden to the front. Discover Dartmoor National Park just 5 miles away. For golfers there are 3 golf courses close by. There are 3 village pubs and a restaurant within walking distance. Shop and restaurant 0.25 miles, pub 200 yards.

Lovely cottage, on arrival we were greeted by the owners, who were welcoming and friendly, cottage was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, shops were 15 minute walk away, pubs were close by. A good place to stay to visit National Trust places, the Barbican and the Hoe, bus stops close by.

A wonderful stay at this little gem. Spacious accommodation with everything you need available. Nice local pub within walking distance that has 2 outside areas if you prefer. Shops are also with in easy reach as is Plymouth city centre and some lovely beaches, we visited Mothecombe beach on this visit (about 20mins by car). Erica & James, the hosts, are lovely people and they even left fresh flowers and a pint of milk so we could have a cuppa after our long journey, tea and coffee was also available. Great accommodation and location which we will be returning to again in the future. Thank you.

we really enjoyed our stay although we booked the cottage while the owners were away and we never saw anyone at all . it was peaceful and restful Holliday . The people who we did see when we walk to the shopping centre at the end of the park were very friendly helpful. all in all great place to be for a break. we would recommend This beautiful home. Thank you Robert and Uncle Ray
