The location of the converted stables was nice and quiet in the countryside with views out over the adjoining fields and equestrian centre in the distance. The cottage was well equipped and the addition of a roofed external hot tub was very welcome to relax in after visits to Wells and Bath. There are two local Spar shops which are well stocked and a visit to the Walled Garden and the Talbot Inn in Mells which is short drive are recommended. Alex and Tanya the cottage owners are very friendly and give excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat at. All in all a lovely place to relax and a good location for a range of visitor attractions.

Lovely location, clean and tidy. Alex emailed and called the day before to confirm everything and sent a message with exact location . So much to explore with extensive walks on the doorstep. Hot tub was excellent. An idyllic location. Some constructive feedback, the property needs a good refurbishment and decorating as the plasterboard has several cracks with paint flaking . Looking a little tired overall, pots and pans were also past their best and I purchased a new frying pan and saucepan to cook with . The crockery is also in need of replacement as several plates are chipped. Overall though we had an excellent week and really enjoyed our time . Hopefully with a good spruce up this would be a absolutely perfect place , the trees over the decking could do with a good trim as bird poo was all over the decking. Would definitely return if the refurbishment was done.
