Had a super week long stay with our two children and dog. Received a warm welcome from the owner, Steve, who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The barn is of a tremendously high quality in terms of furnishings, finishings and cleanliness. We particularly appreciated the dog friendly and secure garden so Dash could enjoy time outside relaxing too. The barn’s location is the most private, peaceful and rural that we have ever stayed with cows contentedly chewing their straw in the field next to it. A great location for seeing Glastonbury town and its fabulous Abbey and Tor, eateries and spiritual vibes, as well as Wells with its stunning cathedral and beautiful shops. Further afield destinations are Wookey Hole and the Cheddar Gorge, Bath, Bristol and Weston-Super-mare. We enjoyed Berrow beach for large sands which are dog friendly and the welcoming locals.

This has been our fourth summer holiday spent in the comfort of Old Barn, thanks in no small part to friendly, welcoming owner, Steve. We love the rural location for its beauty and for the dog walking oportunities. Yet it is conveniently close to Street and Glastonbury when the need to shop arises. Other places of interest are available. Pet friendly, child friendly and grandparent friendly, but you do need a car. This place has the added bonus of an EV charger.

Old Farm is a wonderful place to stay. The property is immaculate, exceptionally well equipped, and set in the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We received a warm welcome from the owner, Steve, who gave us a short tour of the property and left us with a lovely welcome pack of local produce. The towns of Wells and Glastonbury are just a short drive away, making Old Farm the perfect base for exploring the area. Our four-legged family member loved the well-fenced outside space, and there are walks available on the doorstep which are great for spotting the local wildlife. The fact that we've already rebooked for next year says it all! Thank you, Steve for wonderful week.
