The Old Stable in Glastonbury is a well-received cottage, praised for its peacefulness, cleanliness, and prime location for exploring Somerset. Guests have enjoyed the comfortable furnishings, private parking, and the natural surroundings. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One review mentioned the presence of insects, but this seems to be an isolated comment rather than a trend.
The location is frequently highlighted as ideal for visiting local attractions and towns. Its proximity to a pub and central position within Somerset are appreciated, although access issues due to steps were noted by one guest.
The cottage is often described as comfortable, with comfy settees and a good bed. However, concerns about the steepness of the stairs to the upstairs bedroom have been raised, slightly affecting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good shower. However, some guests noted issues with internet strength, a need for a toaster replacement, and general maintenance, indicating room for improvement.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay here. It's a lovely cottage and suited us all well. 2 adults and 2 dogs. There were lots of things to do within a few miles. We mainly went to visit friends so didn't need no go to local attractions but we did visit Glastonbury Abbey which is always beautiful. We would happily stay here again, if they will have us!

We had a very enjoyable stay and the cottage was very comfortable and in a good location for visiting the area.
