Guests say

The Old Stable in Glastonbury receives high praise for its peaceful location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and dog-friendly touches. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring Somerset and nearby attractions, with many guests returning for repeat stays. While the steep stairs are noted as a minor drawback, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with thoughtful touches and a warm, cosy environment making it a favourite for families, couples, and pet owners alike.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as clean, tidy, and well-presented. Only one review mentions a need for a deeper clean and a toaster replacement, but this is outweighed by consistent praise for cleanliness.

Guests consistently mention the peaceful, quiet setting and convenient access to Glastonbury, Wells, and other Somerset attractions. The location is described as ideal for exploring the area and for a relaxing getaway.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, cosy, and warm, with special mention of comfy beds and sofas. The only recurring issue is the steepness of the stairs, but this does not significantly detract from overall comfort.

Reviews praise the well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, secure garden, and private parking. Minor suggestions include replacing the toaster and providing sharper knives, but guests generally find everything needed for a self-catering stay.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, dog treats, and child-friendly amenities. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
