Zeer rustig gelegen.

Walters Cottage was a great base for a weeks holiday exploring Somerset with my elderly mother. It wouldn't suit someone wanting modern decor or trendy furniture; but was perfect for us in a very peaceful location with a well equipped kitchen for self catering, lovely views across the valley from the lounge, main bedroom, little conservatory/porch, and it was warm & cosy in the evenings. The lanes were quiet with good walks from the cottage; yet only a few minutes drive into Shepton Mallet or Wells. We arrived at 5pm and were surprised to find the owner still diligently cleaning for another hour; but that wasn't a problem as we could unload and enjoy tea & coffee with milk from the welcome pack which also included fresh fruit, biscuits and a lovely bunch of flowers. The instructions said check out by 9am, but the owner said that was incorrect and it was fine for us to leave by 10am which we did a week later having had a lovely relaxing time.
