We found the Merriman Lodge bungalow very welcoming. Nice fresh bread and eggs, the house was very clean with plenty of towels and small toiletries.Its location and private drive is a very good feature of this house. It’s a 5 minute walk to the high street with all its shops and restaurants. Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar are all very close. The walk to the Tor takes about an hour.Access to the garden or conservatory would have made the house perfect.All in all, a great place to explore the area.
