There is excellent walking from the holiday property and on the Mendip Hills together with great bird watching locally and on the Somerset Levels. The area abounds with places of interest including beautiful Wells and its superb cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Longleat, Glastonbury Tor and the Georgian Heritage City of Bath. Great beaches at Weston-super-Mare. Shop and pub ½ mile.

Well converted and maintained, good heating system and equipment you would expect and acceptable wi-fi. For us, the beds were too soft and not very comfortable, but that may just be personal taste. Although in a rural setting, it was not as remote as we expected with other properties adjacent. The external area was poor, with overgrown wisteria covering windows, long grass and weeds in the paving. Owners friendly and helpful. Good location, with most of Somerset easily reached.
