Close to the little village of Huntworth near the Somerset Levels, our Lakeview cottages and lodges are perfect for those of you keen to explore the area on foot, and for those days when you’re happy not to venture far from home you’ll find the communal gardens make just the space to unwind in the sun.

Mallard Cottage is a two bedroom cottage set on the Lakeview resort in Somerset, and it’s the perfect home from home for a family break in the countryside you’ve been meaning to take.
The chic design of the kitchen, dining and living rooms gives this contemporary area a bright, airy feel, and you’ll be able to catch up on the days’ adventures over a relaxed family meal before retreating to the living space for some time out together.
On warmer days, step out from the living area and into the communal garden to take in the peace and quiet or watch the kids enjoying the great outdoors. And when the weather’s cooler, the electric flame-effect fire flickers peacefully, creating a cosy backdrop to that family DVD.
When it’s time for bed, the master bedroom’s been designed with indulgence in mind, and the kingsize bed beckons while you watch the sun set behind the lake from your private Juliet balcony. Bliss. If the sight of the lake inspires you to make time for a spot of fishing, anglers with valid rod licences are welcome to make the most of the site’s private fishing lake.
