Having parked safely on the private gravelled drive, a few steps will take you to the enclosed gated garden, perfect for your canine friend to run around and for you to sit in the sun with an ice-cold drink. Always presented in very clean condition. The area is quiet. Dog friendly and Murphy our Irish terrier enjoys holidays there. Burnham on Sea Somerset a short drive away. There is also a local shop. Next door they sell Cider and there is a restaurant at Riches farm.

As an elderly couple, having a handrail to get in and out of the shower and bath would have been helpful. The bathroom needs a window blind or curtain; we felt pretty exposed at night. Our small Yorkshire terrier was made to feel welcome. It is a perfect location for astrophotography - I have superb photos taken from the garden of galaxies 7 million light-years from Earth.

it is pet friendly, but be aware the flooring is wooden and so paws can slip around. outlook is very nice, also a quiet part of Somerset. we stayed in end bungalow, part of 3 linked bungalows. Mallard, Widgeon, and Teal.
