Resort FacilitiesCheddar Woods’ facilities have a maximum capacity, so access may be limited at certain times of the day.Pre-booking is essential for activities, treatments and restaurant dining. Please contact the resort on 01934 742 610 and choose the relevant department to make a booking.The swimming pool and Go Active activities will be closed on Mondays from 28 September 2026 to 8 February 2027, apart from the school holidays, when they'll run as normal on Monday 26 October, Monday 21 December and Monday 28 December. Normal Monday opening returns from 15 February 2027.The gym can be used by guests aged 16 and over only. Access is via reception, and you may be asked for a refundable deposit.

Hire of Travel Cots:
You will need to supply your own cot mattress and bedding as this is not included in the hire of travel cots. Travel cots do not fit in any of the double/master bedrooms of the following accommodation; Mendip 2, Mendip 2 Premier, Mendip 3, Mendip 3 Premier, Burrington, Burrington Premier, Allerton Premier, Langford, Langford Premier, Wedmore, Wedmore Premier.

Additional Information:
Please note on arrival at the resort you will be asked for your car registration number and also the ages of your party members for our swimming pool regulations. Also the Mendip 3 and Mendip Premier 3 are suitable for 4 adults and 2 children, they would not be suitable for 6 adults.
Departure Information:
Please ensure you leave the accommodation by 10:00am on your day of departure however you are more than welcome to use the facilities all day.
Pets:
Please note, if you are planning on bringing your pet or animal on holiday, this must be included in your party make up when booking. If you arrive on holiday with an undeclared pet/animal, the park operators are entitled to either relocate you to suitable pet/animal-friendly accommodation (if available) or refuse access to the Park. You may also be liable for any Pet charge, cleaning costs and/or relocation costs incurred. Please check with the retreat prior to including any extra pets. Any pets arriving undeclared could be asked to leave the retreat if there is no pet accommodation available.
Group Bookings/Party Types:
No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay. A security deposit may be requested on arrival.

Decor in the lodge was a bit scruffy. Lots of chipped woodwork and the decking had been burned by some idiot lighting a portable bbq and not replaced. Could live with all this but the quality of the beds was unacceptable. The single beds seemed fine for children but an adult would struggle to get comfortable. The double beds were far too small and should be king sized at least. The pillows were filled with cheap foam that hasn't been changed since bought. We stayed for four nights and I didn't get more than two hours sleep on any of them.The sofas on the living room were too low which made sitting uncomfortable.
