Hollies Cottage is a charming, cosy, stone holiday cottage full of period features including exposed beams, a woodburner and spiral staircase. Set in a quiet area within the village of Draycott. Only 1½ miles from Cheddar, famed for its gorge and caves, as well as numerous pubs and restaurants. Suitable for either active breaks with walking on the Mendip Hills and the wildlife of the Somerset Levels, or just to relax in comfort. Close by is the cathedral city of Wells 5½ miles, Weston-super-Mare 15 miles; Glastonbury 11 miles, Bath and Bristol less than 50 minutes away. Shop and pub 300 yards.

Perfect location for gentle hikes around the Mendips area.

Property was cold. We were there in a cold spell. We chose not to use the Woodburner which would have made a difference. Parking the car was a bit tricky. Otherwise a nice place to spend a quiet few days. Great location; 30 minute walk into Cheddar.Lovely walks. Nature reserve close at hand.

The cottage was great and the owners when we arrived were about and were really lovely.We both work very hard and just wanted somewhere to go watch the rugby, light a really fire and decompress and the Hollies did not disappoint
