They are all en-suite, and a particular highlight of the master bedroom is its roll-top bath in the room. Each bedroom also has access to a private terrace, making this a perfect escape for couples or families by giving you privacy as well as all being able to come together in the beautiful living and kitchen areas.
Set in a quiet area within the village of Cheddar, The Stables is only 1½ miles from Cheddar Gorge and caves, as well as numerous pubs and restaurants. Suitable for either active breaks, with walking on the Mendip Hills and the wildlife of the Somerset Levels, or just to relax in comfort. Brilliant accommodation. Very clean, spacious with comfortable beds. Appreciated the log fire as coldest week of year. Free logs supplied instantly by owners when we ran out. Wine, cheese, bread and cake left for us on arrival- much appreciated. Lovely area to stay - Wells and Glastonbury close by. Would highly recommend.

Our 2nd stay at the stables and plan to go back again, such a comfortable property, very clean, comfy beds and warm. We used the log fire even though it wasn't really needed but it was really nice, a great place to spend with friends or family , plenty of parking. We explored Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar despite the rain. Plenty of kitchen utensils, I cant think of anything extra we needed and each bedroom with its own shower/bath .

Second time staying at this property and would definitely recommend as it's beautiful, comfortable and everything we were looking for. One tiny criticism and that's the lack of decent knives! Tiny vegetable knives that were blunt made making a roast dinner incredibly challenging!
