This sumptuous lodge which is one of four identical lodges rests amidst open countryside, looking idyllically over the Somerset levels with spectacular views of Glastonbury Tor. The village is a mile outside the picturesque and historical village of Wedmore, and 8 miles from Glastonbury. The property boasts an open-plan living area including fully fitted kitchen, with light flooding in from bi-folding doors that bring the outdoors in. There are three bedrooms; one upstairs king-size room with an en-suite, the other downstairs king-size and children's bunk bedroom share a fully fitted wet room. Outside there is a sheltered patio area with its own hot tub and outdoor furniture.
Set within a rural location, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, guests may want to relax in the hot tub or make the most of fantastic walks or cycle rides in the immediate area. The superb property is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that Somerset has to offer, for nature lovers the Somerset levels, Mendip Hills and Polden Hills and for families the coastal beaches of Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea, nearby Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. It is a great location for family days out to Puxton Adventure Park, Longleat Safari Park, Brean Leisure Park and Brean Water Park.
The nature reserves at Westhay and Shapwick Heath are a must for birdwatchers while Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Abbey provide the cultural heritage of the area. Street is nearby for those looking for a designer bargain at Clarks Village and a visit to Somerset wouldn't be complete without a visit to Thatchers Cider with its restaurant and shop,or the more rustic experience of Wilkins Cider Farm just down the road. Taunton, Bath and Bristol are all under an hour so provide perfect choice for day trips. This lodge is perfect for couples and families at any time of year and the owners also have their very own Sea Harrier jump jet for you to sit in.
Guests are also spoiled with the site of their neighbours in the next field; Jeffrey, Percy and Albert the alpacas and Dottie and Minnie the miniature horses.

Hot tub on deck was great. Enclosed area for dog and plenty of additional walking space worked well. Lodge was comfortably warm. Essential equipment available. Host pleasant and useful local knowledge. [-] Some of chairs not as comfortable as others (e.g. dining chairs). Could have used a couple more bin bags and toilet rolls.

The property was excellently prepared for us and the facilities and cleanliness was fist class. A very superb hot tub loved by the whole family, checked daily for correct levels and purification.
