Although located in a quiet corner of Forton, you’re not situated too far from the Dorset and Devon borders with an abundance of things to see and do, a perfect base to explore the area. Step back in history when visiting Forde Abbey and Gardens and take your friends or family, including your furry friends, on a leisurely stroll around the gardens, or book in for one of the many activities the site holds during the year.
Further afield, yet only 30 minutes away adventure across Lyme Regis’ Monmouth Beach, famously known for its fossil hunting adventures that take place with a number of fossils and Ammonites being found, along with its amazing ammonite pavement it definitely makes for a memorable day. Orchard View is in a lovely location in Chard Somerset! It was very clean and comfy! Jan the owner was very helpful and had everything covered in the bungalow, right down to a towel and chew for our dog! It's the little touches that make things special for me!
