About this property

12 Kittwhistle is settled on the sprawling Cricket St Thomas Estate in Somerset. This family-friendly lodge enjoys a contemporary, light, and airy interior and outside is a hot tub to stargaze at night. Be greeted by an off-road parking space before finding the front garden, where you can dine alfresco on balmy evenings, complete with barbecue. Enter the hallway and from here, discover the open-plan living space, featuring Velux windows for plenty of natural light and a woodburning stove for a snug night in. Catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV, dine together at the table and prepare home-cooked meals in the sleek kitchen area. When eyes tire, there are two well-appointed bedrooms to choose from, a king-size and a twin bedroom, both with en-suites and matching furniture. Awaken with a rinse in either the en-suite shower room or a soothing soak in the en-suite bathroom before exploring your scenic location. For a wonderful escape to Somerset, choose 12 Kittwhistle.

The South Somerset parish of Cricket St. Thomas, which borders West Dorset and is a short distance from East Devon, is in a prime location to explore these three stunning West Country counties. You may visit Cricket House, the original location for the Penelope Keith-starring television series "To the Manor Born," by taking a tour through the Cricket St. Thomas estate. Cricket House is now a component of the Warner Cricket St. Thomas Hotel. The Fleet Air Arm Museum, which is located 7 miles north of Yeovil and is one of the largest aviation museums in the world with many historic aircraft on display, is a little further away but still within easy driving distance, and the prestigious Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford offers an excellent day out for everyone with a vast collection of veteran, vintage, and classic cars and bikes offering a fascinating window into motoring history.

Thomas (so lots of traffic free walking and cycling) The lodge it's self was handsome, cosy and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and always on hand to sort any issues out (there were no issues!) 10/10 would recommend, would go back.

". Our lodge was really well equipped and beautifully clean. Sitting in the hottub in the evenings was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. During our stay the fridge freezer developed a fault, we informed the manager. The very next day a new fridge freezer was fitted, no hassle or fuss. When something goes wrong you find out how good your host is. Our host has been excellent. I fully recommend 12 Swandown and the team behind them. Wonderful countryside and well placed to see the surrounding area.
