About this property

A delightful, semi-detached stable conversion, set on the main village road within the conservation area of the quaintly named South Somerset village of Haselbury Plucknett, just two miles from Crewkerne. This Haselbury Plucknett holiday cottage has been furnished to a good standard and is well-equipped, offering a comfortable holiday base for a couple or a small family. Thought to date back to the 18th century, this Haselbury Plucknett holiday cottage was once used to stable the horses for the adjacent former Swan Inn, now the owner's home, and later used to make beer barrels. Today this clever conversion creates a comfortable, light and airy holiday base, with a warming woodburner to come back to after your busy days' out.

The rear patio offers visitors a peaceful and private outdoor space and is the perfect place to take refreshment while you plan your holiday adventures! Locally, you can explore the attractive village and sample specialities including West Country beers and ciders from the nearby pub, walk by the River Parrett or cycle along the Somerset lanes and South Somerset Cycle Route, all within easy reach of your Haselbury Plucknett holiday cottage. Being so close to the Dorset border makes this an ideal location for touring this lovely area and a short drive from your Haselbury Plucknett cottage are numerous attractions to visit, ranging from Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes Motor Museum to Cricket St Thomas's lake and gardens and Montecute House.

With so much to see and do and the Dorset Jurassic Coast offering visitors to the area stunning scenic coastline and sandy beaches, this cottage in Haselbury Pluckett is a wonderful base for enjoying all Somerset has to offer.
