Blue Inkle is easily the best cottage we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in lots over the last 12 years or so. First recommendation it has a fabulous view from lounge window/balcony that we never tired of. In addition it is very luxurious, beautifully furnished and equipped annexe with so many nice touches I may not have discovered them all in our too short stay! Whilst an annexe to family home it feels quite private once you are inside. Owners were very welcoming without being intrusive and the welcome pack was comprehensive with both basics and luxury items. The Windmill pub a 10 -15 minute walk away was very nice, welcoming friendly staff and dog friendly-we popped in for a drink on our evening walk the first night and ate a very nice meal on our second night. The only downside as a dog owner is that there is no private garden to let the dog out in the morning which meant us getting up and dressed to walk her down the lane (and she wanted to go out before 6am)…but that is a small price to pay for such a lovely cottage in a peaceful and quiet location. The owners have done a lot to make doggies welcome including treats , poo bin (so handy when your pooch does what they have to at end of walk) and doggy shower facility and I can’t see how they could do more in the locationOverall would thoroughly recommend and hope to return before too long

We’ve been taking cottage holidays for more than 10 years and this is by far the nicest,I cannot praise it enough. The view from the patio is stunning. Lovely countryside and then in the distance the sea. Inside the cottage, there’s everything that you could possibly want. It’s clean and bright and very well presented. We can’t think of anything that they could add to make it any better. It’s just perfect as it is. A nice central location , easy to get to all the holiday spots. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack.
