We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave. The owners were so friendly and their dogs were adorable. The cottage has everything you could need and the most amazing tempur mattress on the bed! My husband is now complaining that we need a new mattress at home. The area is quiet. We had amazing clear views of the stars one night and captured some beautiful pictures. The garden is large and our dog loved it. The hot tub sadly broke before our stay but Mandy contacted us before hand to offer us the opportunity to cancel our stay, however with the weather being awful, we hadn’t intended to use the hot tub anyway, so we were more than happy to still use the cottage. The lane flood while we were there as the weather was awful, but the owners were very helpful with this. Thankfully our car was big enough to make it through the flooding and we still got out every day to walk on the beach or go to the shops. If you have a low car, you may struggle as a few of the pot holes down the private lane were deep enough that we lightly scraped the under side of our bumper. Nothing major, just a slight minor inconvenience. Aside from that, I cannot find anything to complain about. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area.

It is lovely and peaceful and despite being next to train line they did not bother us, lovely walks along the canal. Good base for visiting Somerset or just to chill and relax.
