Wonderful and quirky accommodation, ideal for train buffs. The double bed is the most comfortable ever when staying in holiday accommodation. Emma is an amazing host and her welcome pack legendary.

Loved our stay in Elsie. She is full of character. My train mad son as well as my daughter loved watching the trains going past. Running out to wave and greet them as they went by. Excelent communication from Emma, ensuring we had every thing we needed and got there ok. Even allowing us to gain acess before the checking in time. What a fabulous welcome basket of goodies was waiting for us on arrival. I had read in the reviews about how good it was but it was even better than I imagined it would be. So much thought had gone into it. Elsie is well equipped, literally a home for home. The aircon was a God send. I can also imagine how cosy Elsie will be when the log burner is in use. Lovely quiet relaxing area. I knew that Blue Anchor was a village but there is only a small shop that opens for a few hours in the afternoon. Unfortunately the local pub/restaurant had just closed down so we were unable to take a wander down in the evening and have a meal/couple of drinks. But we made the most of it by just having a couple a home watching the tide coming in, in the evenings. There is also a Cafe but we did not visit it. The above is out of Emma's control though and did not take away from our stay in Elsie. We would quite happily stay in Elsie again. It was a pleasure to be able to stay in her, thank you Emma.
