While some mention minor issues with kitchenware, mattresses, and occasional maintenance, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.
Most guests found the property clean, comfortable, and well-presented, with only a few minor comments about areas that could have been cleaner, such as the freezer or general tidiness.
The location is universally praised, with guests loving the proximity to Dunster Castle, the village, walking trails, and local amenities. The peaceful setting and easy access to attractions are standout features.
The cottage is generally described as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with spacious living areas. However, several guests noted that some mattresses, particularly in the downstairs bedrooms, were uncomfortable, which affected their stay.

Very peaceful location. Good selection of pubs & places to eat in walking distance but check opening days/times first & prebook if poss. The house was perfect for us but could have been a bit cleaner. Plenty of space for 2 & storage for bikes in games room. Description says parking for 2/3 cars but would have to be small cars & lane is narrow so tricky turning in

We had a lovely weekend at Haven Mill- everything we could need was provided and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and welcoming. So much living space with plenty of places to relax and unwind. Dunster is gorgeous and there are beautiful walks from the doorstep.

The mattresses downstairs were not comfortable and the lights in the lounge were not adequate for reading. A brighter light in the bedroom would also help. We enjoyed our holiday in Mill Haven (even though my wife and I left a day early as she was unwell). The weather was hot so the fans were a boon as it gets very hot upstairs.Thank you for the lovely cake and milk which were a very welcome gift. The owner seems to have thought of many things which helped the holiday to be so enjoyable. The grandchildren really enjoyed the items provided in the playroom.
