Situated in a picturesque rural area within easy reach of a number of sites of interest, this lovely terraced cottage has something for everyone. . 8 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Living room: With wood burner, Smart TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bedroom 3: With single bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Front terrace. Lawned, terraced, rear garden with patio. Private parking for 2 medium-size cars. No smoking. Please note: Access is via narrow, bumpy lane. There are 17 steps and steep, sloping banks. . Bramwell Haven is the perfect holiday choice for couples or a family at any time of year. This pretty cottage, refurbished in 2019, sits peacefully within the charming Exmoor village of Timberscombe with its church, post office and popular, dog friendly village inn.
The spacious kitchen/dining room enjoys lovely views across the valley to the front and opens onto a delightful terraced rear garden, which has direct access at the top onto the path for Timberscombe Common, perfect for dog walking or an evening stroll. The front terrace enjoys open views towards Dunkery Beacon. With beautiful Exmoor moorlands, the coastline and the Quantock Hills within a short driving distance there is something for everyone in this stunning location.
There is superb scenery and walking to be enjoyed on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor. Medieval Dunster with its numerous pubs and cafés, is 3 miles away. Here you can visit the National Trust’s Dunster Castle, a medieval Yarn Market, Deer Park and Mill, all sure to make for an interesting day out.
Minehead, 4 miles away, is a charming Edwardian seaside town located on the beautiful south west coastline at the start of the dramatic South West Coast Path. Its stunning mile–long seafront with promenade, pretty harbour and boating heritage gives it a unique charm. There are a wealth of small independent shops, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets along with other town amenities. The West Somerset Railway is also well worth a visit, There are further beaches to be found at Dunster and Porlock.
At Woolacombe and Croyde, you will find some of the best surfing and family beaches in the country. There is also cycling, golf, horse riding and sea fishing trips available locally. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
