Well appointed and very clean
John S
We really enjoyed our stay at Birch cottage. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and ideally situated in the middle of Watchet, yet only 50 metres from the esplanade. This tastefully decorated cottage is set in a small gated community just off the main car park, and the parking arrangements worked very well.I would certainly recommend it for any couple wishing to stay in that area of Somerset.

Good central location, good communication from owner but although good value, disappointing that so many basic essentials missing eg. washing up brush and cloths, oven gloves, cafetiere/coffee maker, toilet brushes, hand towels in bathroom, list of useful numbers (hospital, vet etc). Saucepans don't sit comfortably on the hob (an accident waiting to happen) and as other guests have already commented, the shower runs hot and cold and the front door key is temperamental at best.
