Lovely quiet area and beautiful cottage furnished to high standard. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year. Our dog loved the walk in the woods although you have to walk along a road without a path for about 200 yards so be careful - there are two walks within the woods one of mile and half and the other two and a half miles that end at a pub.

Stables End is a very comfortable cottage, well equipped and in a good location. We have stayed in many cottages and this was one of the most comfortable. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and well maintained. It was clean and tidy on arrival and a perfect location if you're looking for a quiet place to stay which is in within driving distance of some of the best places to visit on Exmoor.

A wonderful and peaceful location. Warm, welcoming and friendly hosts. In spite of the wet weather we had a great week, and we would highly recommend Stables End. It’s a beautiful area with loads to do within a relatively short driving distance.
