The location is lovely& secluded. We used a forestry commission track to get to Dunster avoiding road closures. Loved Nutcombe Bottom. Easy drive to Minehead & Woolacombe. The cottage is spacious & well equipped. We had 4 adults, 2 dogs & a two year old & we had loads of room. Loads of walks & plenty to do.

Amazing stay at Well Cottage. The views are unreal and it is in such a peaceful and rural location. There are many woodland walks from the doorstep but a car is needed to get to the nearest shops/pubs. Lots of family and dog friendly things to do in the surrounding areas. If you are looking to escape the world and enjoy peace and quiet then I cannot recommend Well Cottage enough, it's beautiful.

A lovely large secluded cottage in a quiet area. Well equipped with everything you would need for your stay with welcome tea, coffee, biscuits and milk waiting. The enclosed garden is ideal for dogs and has good views over the hillside, ideal for sitting out of an evening, and the porch is great for drying off the dog if necessary. Bedrooms are large and comfortable with a large on-suite and dressing room for the main bedroom. Inside could do with a lick of paint and the oven takes forever to cook anything but this does not detract from the cottage. Water is drawn from a spring so only one can shower at any one time, but the power shower makes up for that. The shorter road to the cottage is closed but there is a longer route to it that adds a bit of time to your trips out but you can plan accordingly. All in all a lovely place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet. Will definitely be going again at some point.
