Set back from the waterfront, it allows a degree of peace and tranquillity, whilst retaining the benefits of the location affording views over the marina and harbour. A balcony with two chairs is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Brixham centre is a few minutes leisurely walk along the harbourside, where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located. The Breakwater Beach is a few minutes along the waterfront in the other direction.
The neighbouring town of Paignton, just 5 miles away, offers a variety of popular family attractions including Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth Steam Railway and Quaywest Waterpark (summer season only). Here you can relax on the sandy beaches, take a stroll along the esplanade and out onto Paignton Pier. A further 3 miles on is the cosmopolitan town of Torquay playing host to an array of attractions, activities and entertainment. Get up close and personal with the penguins at Living Coasts or explore the caves at Kents Cavern. In the evening, take in a show at one of three theatres, or jump on board an evening cruise out into the Bay for a different perspective of the beautiful coastline.

Great views over the marina to Torbay; made climbing the three flights of stairs worth it. Spacious flat with comfy beds & big well-equipped kitchen. Small en-suite shower & no iPlayer, etc. Flat walk to the town centre shops, bars & restaurants and buses to the trains at Paignton. We had a good week swimming in various heated outdoor pools; nice to leave the car and use buses, trains & ferries.

The location was just right for town and pebble beach in the middle within easy walking distance. The cleanliness was exceptional, bedding and towels, the whole apartment was spotlessly clean couldn't fault it. Everything you could want like a home from home. Only down side was the amount of stairs to get to the apartment as we are getting on it was a bit of a chore. For that reason and only that reason we will not be booking it again, other than that we would very highly recommend the place .
