Head to the colourful, seaside town of Paignton (5.5 miles) for the zoo, Splashdown Quaywest waterpark (4.5 miles) or a day soaking up the mild climate on the sandy beach. On the opposite side of the bay is the vibrant town of Torquay (8.5 miles), hire a paddleboard or kayak, or try your hand at surfing.
