This cosy cottage is situated in picturesque Brixham, a popular resort, where modern marina meets quaint fishing harbour and you can still watch the trawlers landing their catch. On the edge of Brixham is Shoalstone Beach, where the outdoor seawater swimming pool, built into the rocky foreshore is always popular. In the town there is a good selection of shops and restaurants, many offering freshly caught fish. In Brixham, just yards from the South Devon Coast Path, is Monkbarns. This smart single storey cottage comprises a neat kitchen, smart lounge/diner and bedroom with balcony from which there are views over the surrounding town and glimpses of the sea through the trees.
Brixham is a fishing harbour on Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet, Brixham has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby you can reach the delightful seaside resort of Dartmouth, offering a fine selection of amenities and sitting in the South Devon aonb.

Was excellent for our stay in Brixham/Torbay...the cottage was very clean, lovely layout and the extras on arrival were very much appreciated... Just add a waste bag in the bin. Make sure you take the details of the cottage with you when you first go out...or make sure your sat nav works...their are two Northfield Lanes? Fantastic stay...highly recommended.come on you Robins!

There is easy access to nearby public open spaces, the SW coast path and the town centre. Monkbarns is a lovely, compact and well very equipped bungalow. It is spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted for our holiday. There is off-road parking for one vehicle - we only used our car once during our week-long stay. We would thoroughly recommend Monkbarns without hesitation.

Close to amenities and on a regular bus route. For dog owners, there is a lovely park and walk literally 30 seconds away from the property. The facilities and furnishings are of high quality. My only constructive criticism , would be the absence of curtains and door curtain in the lounge to give a more warm and cosy feel. Other than that , really comfortable. Met the owners who were very welcoming and friendly. Thank you
