A beautiful town house with lovely views over the harbourA beautiful town house with lovely views over the harbour
The Crow's Nest has the appearance of a classic Victorian terraced town house on the outside, but inside the property is furnished in a fun and quirky seaside style.
Built in 1851, as confirmed by the original deeds displayed above it's main feature fireplace, The Crow's Nest is arranged over four floors and features a narrow spiral staircase, with each room boasting its own individual charm and character.
Two of the three double bedrooms offer panoramic harbour, sea and town views while the kitchen balcony allows you to sit and watch the world go by on the water's edge below. The property contains all modern conveniences including Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washer/dryer, flatscreen TV and central heating. There are also many period features such as exposed brickwork, fireplaces or original wooden beams in virtually every room. The lower ground floor is split into two distinct areas, one ideal for quiet periods and the other equipped with range of entertainment.. These rooms also allow access to the outside terrace which has a table, chairs and parasol positioned to take advantage of some more wonderful views. The Crow's Nest has a family bathroom on the first floor and separate shower and WC on the lower ground floor.
Brixham is fast becoming one of the South West’s upmarket resorts and has embraced café society to the full. Just walk along the harbour and see all the people sitting outside dining, while watching the boats on the water. Early risers will be able to watch the trawlers land in the mornings. Sea cruises round Torbay and Dartmouth are also popular, as is taking a walk across the cliffs at Berry Head or hunting for fossils at St Mary’s Bay.From the harbour, a short walk along the coastal path leads to a selection of beaches and coves, as well as the seawater swimming pool at Shoalstone. At Paignton, there are a fine selection of attractions including Paignton Zoo, the UK’s 3rd largest zoo; the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark.

Please note that this traditional fisherman's cottage features steep staircases which are narrow and twisting, and so may be inaccessible for some guests and requires all children to be supervised at all times.
