Set within the peaceful village of Alderbury, just a few miles from the historic cathedral city of Salisbury, this stylish retreat is the ideal base for a holiday. You’ll be perfectly placed to explore the area's rich heritage and natural beauty. Head to nearby Salisbury (3 miles), which offers a wealth of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, as well as the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral with its iconic spire. Sitting in its shadow is Britain’s largest cathedral close, where you can explore historic Mompesson House. Within 20 miles, discover the world-famous Stonehenge, the ancient landscapes of Cranborne Chase National Landscape, and the beautiful New Forest National Park, all ideal for walking, cycling, and wildlife spotting. In May and June, a visit to National Trust Mottisfont (11 miles) is a must, when its renowned rose garden will be in full bloom.
A stable door leads from the courtyard frontage into the striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To the rear is a contemporary L-shaped kitchen, ideal for preparing your favourite meals. Just opposite there is space to dine. After a day spent exploring, light the wood burner before catching up on your favourite shows on the wall-mounted Smart TV.
