Dairy Cottage receives high praise for its warm and welcoming owners, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, and beautiful, peaceful location. Guests enjoyed the added touches like a welcome pack and the property's proximity to scenic walks and Cotswolds attractions. The enclosed garden was appreciated by pet owners, and the cottage's cleanliness and maintenance are consistently commended.
Reviews frequently mention the cottage's cleanliness, indicating a high standard of upkeep. Guests were very pleased with the cleanliness, which contributed positively to their overall experience.
The location is described as quiet, rural, and peaceful, with easy access to walks and nearby Cotswolds attractions. The secluded setting and pleasant views are appreciated, suggesting a very desirable location.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a cosy atmosphere, underfloor heating, and a relaxing garden. However, one suggestion for a different sofa and TV placement indicates that while comfort is high, there may be room for minor improvements.
Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage described as well-equipped and maintained. The mention of a potential addition of a BBQ and a comment on the TV's position suggest that while facilities are excellent, there could be enhancements to make them even better.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches provided by the owners, such as a welcome pack with treats. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such personal touches, though common, are offered at the owners' discretion and may vary.
Cirencester 8.7 miles. If you like peace and tranquility, but want activities nearby Dairy Cottage could be for you! Set within a small farm dating back to the 17th Century, this attractive holiday home enjoys some fantastic views across open countryside, where you are free to roam for miles and miles - especially if you decide to bring your dog. Not only that, but you are right on the edge of the Cotswold Water Park where more paths lie waiting to be explored or wildlife to be spotted. Alternatively, at the Water Park's lakes you could decide to sail, canoe, bike plus a host of other activities that will keep you energised and active! Inside the barn there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus an open plan living space that is spacious, vaulted and looking towards the great views. The barn's conversion has been to a good standard with some lovely touches throughout, such as the heated limestone flooring which looks great, the wood burner for those winter evenings and two bathrooms. In our opinion this is families and pets will enjoy this property which offers, space, tranquility and convenience for everyone. You may even get some eggs from the chickens from the very hospitable (but non-invasive!) owners who live in the farmhouse. The cottage is on one level and therefore suitable for those with limited mobility.

Might also be an idea to move the TV down the wall as slightly too high, hurt oneâs neck after a while. Maybe a corner sofa would better fit that area too. Otherwise absolutely wonderful, much needed, rest in beautiful surroundings. Owners so lovely and accommodating. Hope to be back.

Perfect location for Wiltshire and cotswolds activities.

The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. It was great to be able to take the dogs for walks straight from the cottage through the fields and also to find walks within The Cotswolds only a short drive away. A nice relaxing week for all!
