Rose Cottage is a delightful and tastefully restored Grade II listed holiday cottage with many original features, including a large stone fireplace in the living room and beamed ceilings throughout. One of a pair, the cottage is located in the village of Cold Ashton, in a conservation Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, directly on the 104-mile Cotswold Way. Only 5 miles from Bath and less than a 30-minute drive from Bristol. National Trust Dyrham Park, Badminton Horse Trials and Westonbirt Arboretum are nearby.

Lovely cosy cottage in a lovely hamlet. Lovely walks from the door. Cottage was pristine clean and equipped with everything we needed. Owner very responsive and friendly.One inaccuracy on details sent with booking - checkout time is 9am not 10am.

The cottage was very clean and tidy. We felt that the condition of the chairs and the sofa in the television area were below standard. The leather chairs were in a poor sate of disrepair and the sofa was very uncomfortable.

An absolutely charming historic cottage with lots quirky period details (e. g. a huge fireplace in the sitting room). The situation in close proximity to Bath, Bristol and the southern Cotswold is ideal for a big variety of exiting outings. There aren't any amenities like a pub in Cold Ashton itself, but the nearby village of Marshfield more than compensates for that. In the cottage itself, there is lots of comfortable seating and the kitchen is well equipped for a party of four. Our only recommendations: The front door could do with a lick of paint and the armchairs in the TV room definitely need to be replaced.
