Set near the owners’ home on their working farm, it lies within a short drive of the historic city of Bath. Walking through wild flowers meadows, the Avebury Stone Circle, Castle Combe (reputed to be England’s prettiest village), Lacock Abbey, Longleat Safari Park, Bradford-on-Avon’s many antique shops and Swindon’s steam museum and outlet shopping are just some of the area’s many delights. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 0.25 miles.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brewhouse, it is immaculately clean and well fitted out, it's a great little place, that being said if you're a city dweller then it might not be for you, if you want a modern apartment next to the tube and an array of supermarkets next door it may not suit, but if you want a charming farm cottage this is for you, a great bit of countryside and a good pub within five minutes’ walk. You’ll get a warm welcome when you arrive at the Brewhouse but have your own privacy. Even though it is absolutely in the countryside you're only 15 minutes’ drive from all the supermarkets etc so you won't go without. We recommend the Brewhouse.

Extremely disappointed with the property apart from the bed which was very comfortable. Two outer doors (living room and bedroom) had gaps between the frames and brickwork making it very draughty. The heating and hot water were not available at the same time. The bathroom was very compact and lacking a shelf to put ones toilet bags on.

Beautiful country cottage with loads of character, stunning views out of the windows, especially nice to look out over the farm in the mornings. Lovely fireplace and everything you could want for an authentic country retreat! Amanda is a great host too
