Having just spent 4 nights at Little Willows I would highly recommend. Chris had kindly lit the wood burner so the hut was lovely and warm upon my arrival. The bed was extremely comfy as was the chair where I spent most of my time reading.I visited Glastonbury which was an hour and 20mins away and started some Xmas shopping in Devizes a few miles up the road.A wonderful, peaceful break leaving me feeling refreshed and recharged.

The shepherds hut itself is beautifully crafted, well laid out, cosy, comfortable and finished to a really high standard. Can't fault it. Even the pots and pans were good quality which was an unexpected bonus as I was there 5 nights and like to cook. All the basics are provided right down to salt and pepper, tea bags, even ground coffee and milk but you'll need your own account to watch Netflix or Prime and YouTube wasn't available when I was there. The WiFi was great, the bed was really comfortable and with ear plugs I slept really well.Little Willows would be perfect if only it wasn't right next to a busy road. If you're a city dweller traffic noise might not bother you but if peace and quiet is really important to you then this place might not be for you. The location on the map shows it at the end of the lane which is a quiet spot but in fact it's right next to the A360 and you can feel the heavy traffic rumbling past. Weekends were quieter though and it is pretty with the stream right outside and squirrels in the trees outside the window. So I'd 100% recommend this place if you find it easy to zone out road noise. It's excellent value and the nightly rate drops the longer you stay so 5 nights cost just a few pounds more than 4 in November which is a bargain for such high quality self contained acco

A gem of a place ! A beautiful shepherd's hut in such a lovely setting especially at this time of year with the apple trees right outside the door, and the trees changing colour. The host Chris & Pat were brilliant. Very welcoming and made sure i was comfortable throughout my stay, they even left me pastries and milk for my arrival which was a lively touch ! The hut was beautifully decorated, bigger than I thought, bed was very comfortable, shower was lovely and hot, plenty of cups, plates, pots, pans, even supplied bbq equipment, charcoal and wood/kindling lighters, matches for the fire. They really had thought of everything. Plenty of plug sockets and in good locations too. This place was so cosy especially in an evening. I stayed for a week and could of easily stayed for another ! Great location just outside the main town, where there is a sainsburys, m&s, morrisons & Lidl (a bit further). Plenty of restaurants to eat at and the owners left a welcome folder with useful info. Great also for local attractions (can't recommend longleat safari park enough), again some really useful info in the welcome folder supplied. I cannot wait to come back to this place, if your looking for some escapism then head here ! The price for a week was a bargin ! Look forward to returning soon !
