It is ideal for long stays from which to explore the wonderful county of Wiltshire. Sample the simple pleasures in life and enjoy the fresh county air, take a stroll to the village pub, just a few hundred yards away, or grab the bubbly and hop into your own private hot tub and take in the view! You may not want to leave your peaceful bolthole, but if you do, for something a little less peaceful, Thruxton race circuit offers you an adrenaline fix from karting to supercars. A miscommunication between the hosts and cottages.com caused a frosty start to our stay but I would highly recommend Woodpecker Lodge if your looking for a tranquil quiet space with the most comfortable bed and the added bonus of the hot tub. A perfect place to relax!

The accommodation was very clean and accessible. There wasn’t any WiFi and the TV wasn’t great for reception. But beautiful surroundings and very relaxing ☺️
