Nestled within Longleat Estate’s historic woodland and overlooking its deer-rich parkland, this Grade II listed country retreat offers a timeless countryside escape with modern comforts. Originally built in 1775, the house retains charming features such as low ceilings and exposed wooden beams, bringing a cosy and authentic character to your stay.

Set on the estate’s north western border, Deer Keeper’s House enjoys a tranquil, semi-hidden location and is perfectly tucked into the trees for total privacy yet minutes from main attractions. The décor thoughtfully blends rustic and modern with farmhouse kitchen fittings, plush upholstered sofas, and curated historical artifacts from Longleat’s own archives, and boasts a rustic fireplace, vintage books, and soft lighting complete the warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for quiet evenings after exploring the safari park.

Deer Keeper's House has three well-appointed bedrooms; bedroom one is situated on the second floor, with a 6' super-king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedrooms two and three are on the first floor along with the family bathroom, both with 6' super-king size zip and link beds which can be configured into twin 3' singles on request.

Outside, you can enjoy the large private garden with patio seating, perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink during those warmer months.
