If you like a traditional little cottage that takes you back to your childhood days this is for you. Not all mod cons but very well equipped and everything you need for a few days stay away, warm and cosy. With a beautiful cottage garden. Parking for one car and very central for sightseeing. We also visited Longleat and called in at a little pub called The White Hart Corsley for a midweek roast amazing value and the best Yorkshire pudding and desserts!! We booked as it can apparently get busy.After a long day out had a good sleep in the very comfortable bed. Thanks Penny.

The cottage was cosy and in a great location for exploring the local area, with a lovely garden.. The Rayburn made the kitchen feel warm and welcoming, and Penny, the owner who lives next door, was helpful in coming over to show us how to use it.However, some of the furnishings are quite dated and the property would benefit from some modernisation. We also felt that some parts of the cottage wasn’t that clean. While the garden was pleasant, it’s worth noting that parts of it are unfenced and open to the neighbouring property, which may not suit everyone (particularly if you have a dog).The local pub, which is within walking distance, was very good and good value.
