The cottage is on a fairly busy road, but is well located to visit local attractions like Longleat and National Trust Stourhead. There is parking for 2 cars, but not big cars as it is very tight. There is a chip shop a short walk away, and a pub too. The shops are a short drive away.We were concerned when we were told that the heating wasn't working, but the cottage is kept nice and warm by the Rayburn and log burner and we were hiven free logs for the entire stay. The fan heaters in the bedroom were only used occasionally because it was warm.If you're looking for a luxury stay, then this isn't for you. The cottage interior is quite old, but it was well equipped and clean. Everything we needed was available, in fact the kitchen was probably overstocked with items! There is a really good guide folder for visitors.However, the standard of the cottage is reflected in the price and this is well worth the price paid and we would definitely stay again and We would mention again the excellent access to various places to visit like Warminster and Bradford on Avon.We were a party of 3 adults and a dog.

A lovely cosy cottage. Penny the owner was friendly and welcoming. There are a few low door frames and it is on a main road although there wasn't much noise as it wasn't that busy.Would definitely stay again.
