1 Bed Apartment in Great Waldingfield

About this property

Whisk your special someone off to this smart studio, which is tucked in a peaceful courtyard in the owner’s home. Sitting in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, it’s just 3.5 miles from the market town of Sudbury. Sleeping two people, it's ideal for couples who want to escape the everyday and reconnect while discovering The Gainsborough Trail and this beautiful region. Step back in time in Lavenham (4.5 miles), which is often called Britain's best-preserved medieval village, or browse the independent shops, boutiques and galleries in the charming village of Long Melford (5 miles). Lose yourself in Constable Country in the Dedham Vale (5 miles) – the landscape immortalised by the romantic painter John Constable. Further afield, spend a glorious day in Bury St Edmunds (17 miles), where you can visit the cathedral and then lose yourself in the lively foodie scene.

Climb the staircase to your first-floor studio, and you’ll find a stylish open-plan space that’s made for two. The compact kitchenette has everything you need to rustle up a light bite to share at the lovely two-seater dining table. Afterwards, crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp, and snuggle up on the double bed at the back of the room and choose a great film to watch on the Smart TV. A stylish en-suite shower room with pretty tiles completes the layout.

Step outside and take a seat at the bench in the studio’s peaceful shared courtyard. It's an idyllic spot to slow right down, breathe in the fresh country air and simply unwind.
