Blackwell Barn is located in the pretty Suffolk village of Raydon, with a local village community and on the edge of Dedham Vale an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for walkers, with ancient woodland and walk along former railways, all easily accessible from Blackwell Barn. Located just 2 miles from Hadleigh and conveniently close to the A12, Raydon is famous for its WW2 military airfield and historic link to the American air base with several original buildings still in use as workshops. If you can drag yourself away from Blackwell Barn, you’ll find a convenience store, pub and restaurant at East Berghot, fine dining under a mile away at Layham and plenty of places to explore in the local area. Manningtree station is a short drive away on the main line connecting Norwich and Harwich with London Liverpool Street. Beach 21 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.

Well designed barn conversion that keeps the features and character of the building intact. Situated in a village just off of A14, very easy to find. Many interesting and historical places to visit. Nearest town is Hadleigh which has a good number of independent shops and a small Friday market. Would definitely recommend a stay in the barn.

Lovely modernised barn. All facilities. Very clean.Good location for touring the Suffolk/Essex border/coast.Need car as nearest town is Hadleigh with all facilities, supermarkets, eateries etc. Good to walk to via railway path.
