The Old Dairy is a spacious and well-equipped cottage set in a tranquil rural location, ideal for those seeking peace, countryside walks, and wildlife spotting. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming hosts, with many noting the thoughtful touches and beautiful surroundings. The property is perfect for relaxing breaks and exploring both Suffolk and Norfolk, with easy access to local villages and amenities. While some guests mention the absence of certain appliances and limited garden access for dogs, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended retreat.
Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean, tidy, and well maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.
The peaceful rural setting, beautiful views, and proximity to walks and wildlife are frequently praised. The only minor drawback mentioned is the need to drive to shops and the remote location if mobility is restricted.
Guests describe the cottage as very comfortable, spacious, and homely, with particular mention of a large bed, airy rooms, and a powerful shower. No significant comfort issues are raised.
The cottage is well equipped and maintained, with a well-appointed kitchen and good Wi-Fi. Some guests note the absence of a dishwasher, washing machine, and smart TV, but these are minor preferences rather than major shortcomings.
Many guests mention welcome packs for both people and dogs, as well as warm, friendly, and helpful hosts. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Old Dairy is a spacious single storey dwelling in the grounds of a lovely house with far reaching views across vast cornfields to the rear, and a huge public common to the front. It is therefore very quiet and relaxing with a private garden area to the rear, so a short drive is necessary to get to any shops. It is well appointed and has a vast, comfortable bed and a good sized lounge/dining area and a large wet-room. The owners Nick and Isobel are very helpful without being intrusive. If you need peace and quiet then this is the place for you.
