Aspen Country Park is part of our Evermore Lodge Holidays Collection, and is located in the heart of Suffolk set within prestigious grounds once belonging to the Duke of Norfolk. It is situated in Suffolk’s beautiful countryside and offers an extremely relaxing environment providing peace and quiet and is the idyllic getaway location. If you’re looking for an area drenched in history and culture, then Aspen Country Park is perfect for you, this Park has a rich aristocratic history. The park is set in 220 acres of countryside and has its very own fishing lakes. There are two well-known golf clubs in the village along with a health spa which you can use at a moment’s notice.

Lovely spacious cabin and hot tub. Shame the dishwasher was not working and the main shower in the master bedroom we were unable to use as the water was scolding hot. There was not number to contact a member of staff about this issue.

Great peaceful location.However with a young family and elderly relatives staying we had little to occupy our time.Extraction in bathrooms was noisy.Sound in childrens room TV was broken.TV was out on first day which was no issue!Local amenities are non existent unless you travel to Bury St Edmunds, which whilst charming has its limits.The skips/bins are a very long walk from our lodge, have you considered small wooden enclosed areas at each zone/street!?The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable but WiFi was missed, particularly by the children and for kindle users alike!Is food/takeaway delivery available in the area?This would be a nice option on the first night of arrival and if information is available that would also be great.Sleep was comfortable and peaceful.I would recommend Aspen to friends and family but not those with children for reasons stated.

The lodge was very well furnished and had good selection of kitchenware. Biggest issue was pet hair and flies. Lodge I chose was pet friendly but the fur on the furniture and carpets was too much. Although windows weren't open and no rubbish was kept out there was a constant increase in flies. I also paid for a high chair before my visit and was not provided 1. The doors are easily opened from inside which is dangerous if you have smaller children. Location is great, parking is at the door of your lodge so very convenient. The hot tub was clean and nice. They provide a few necessities like bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc which was good. The country park itself is very clean and well looked after great for a nice walk. Generally pleased.
