Guests appreciate the cottage's prime location in Aldeburgh, close to the town centre and beach, with its spacious layout and charming character. The garden and exterior are noted for needing attention, and while some guests mention issues with maintenance and cleanliness, the overall experience remains positive, with many looking forward to future stays.
Cleanliness has been brought up as an issue, particularly in the kitchen, with one guest noting it was not up to the usual standards. However, this does not seem to be a consistent problem across all reviews.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre and beach, making it an ideal spot for visitors. No negative comments about the location were noted.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, though there are concerns about the quality of the mattresses and the property appearing 'tired'. The garden's condition also affects the comfort of outdoor space.
Facilities are adequate, with a well-stocked kitchen and safe garden for pets. However, guests have reported issues with the dishwasher and general maintenance needs, indicating room for improvement.

A traditional coastal bungalow with easy access to local amenities and attractions, 52 Lee Road is the ideal holiday home for a family looking to explore the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh and the surrounding countryside of Suffolk. Be welcomed by the charming exterior of this bungalow as you enter into a charming sitting room, with dark blue feature walls highlighting the homely glow of the woodburning stove, you will simply love curling up here with a good book and a cup of tea, and in the warmer months why not open the glass double doors and allow in seas of natural light? The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
