The Lookout is in a quiet part of the coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk close to interesting shops, restaurants, public houses and the beach. Aldeburgh, famous for its annual music festival founded by Benjamin Britten and held at Snape Maltings in June, has an attractive Georgian High Street and seafront properties with views of the beach and colourful beach huts where fresh fish is sold, and there is boating on the Alde estuary nearby.
