Enjoying a superb position in the heart of the bustling town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, is this charming holiday cottage, Corner Cottage which is perfect for families on holiday. Offering all the creature comforts you would expect from a quality holiday home, Corner Cottage promises guests a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The sitting room is warm and welcoming with delightful windows overlooking Aldeburgh High Street allowing loads of light to flood in with the finishing touch, an attractive open fire which creates a lovely focal point to the room. Step into the fabulous open-plan kitchen/diner and you can’t fail to be impressed by the bespoke, hand-made kitchen which not only looks good but is really practical too, with everything needed to be able to create fantastic food for the whole family.
At the other end of the room is an elegant dining table, all set up ready to invite guests to sit down and enjoy lazy meals together. Outside there are gardens to the front with a range of patio furniture, perfect for guests to pull up a chair and enjoy drinking and dining alfresco while watching life go by from the garden fence. There is also a secure courtyard to the side ideal for storing bikes. When bedtime comes, guests can choose from either a king-size or a twin but both are beautifully presented and offer a relaxing space in which to chill out and sleep.
Whether you prefer a long soak in the bath in the evening or a refreshing shower in the morning, Corner Cottage has it all and is a great base from which to explore the delights of Suffolk. Take a stroll into Aldeburgh where you will find some great shops and eateries as well as the beach which is known for its selection of brightly coloured beach huts. A slightly longer hike but no less scenic is a walk along the coast to Thorpeness or jump in the car for days out to places such as Clare Castle Park, Go Ape Thetford, Somerleyton Hall, Bewilderwood and RSPB Minsmere.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

Clean and tidy and great that it had two bathrooms. My only thing I think would be helpful is a washing machine, other than this it was perfect and lots of free parking for longer period of time on the roadside just left right of the property.

We especially enjoyed the fire in the evening after chilly outings. Aldeburgh has wonderful butchers, bakers and fishmongers - food shopping is a joy. The lovely old cinema was also a treat. Our stay was in early December - and we returned home relaxed and reinvigorated. Many thanks.
