Enter into an opulent sitting room, where the tasteful décor catches your eye and entices you to recline in one of a selection of sofas. When mealtimes call, a stylish kitchen/diner with blue cupboards and a marble work surface create a great space for guests to cook together, enjoying their heart-warming meal at the dining table, and you will be delighted by the bifold doors opening onto the garden and a second seating area, ideal for dining alfresco. As the evening wears on, cosy down in one of the three bedrooms, each with storage, beginning with a double with an en-suite, a super-king-size zip-link with a stylish feature wall and a bunk room with parrot wallpaper, perfect for children. Enjoy a soak in the bath before heading out to explore the local area. The local area of Aldeburgh is one rich in independent shops and eateries where you can sample local produce and enjoy home-made cake with a cup of tea. There is a beach only a short walk from the property, lined in a rainbow of picturesque buildings, where you can sunbathe, take a stroll in the salty air and even try out watersports. Enjoy a walk along the Snape footpath and admire the coastline or visit Haven Nature Reserve where you will be surrounded by wildlife, ending your day with fish and chips and a view to the ocean. Make a holiday to remember with a stay at The Red Brick House.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

Best we have ever stayed in over many years in both Aldeburgh and Thorpness. Minor issue, would benefit having a washing up bowl. Making washing up in the quartz / stoneware small sink less precarious when washing those delicate glasses and crockery.

It even had sharp knives which the cook appreciated and is quite rare even for a top quality holiday house.

Pretty much everything we could have expected and more. Provision of cleaning and dishwasher products was much appreciated. Tea, coffee and sugar etc was a lovely touch. Complimentary bottle of wine gratefully consumed. Had a lovely stay and really wasn't affected by the building work next door. Could i suggest that the rubbish collection info is clarified please. Its a bit vague as to what goes in which bin and what is recyclable. Also we put the bins out as instructed but only one was emptied. Leaving ours and the previous tenants rubbish uncollected. Also a velux window opener would be useful. Both the bathroom and landing velux windows are quite high up. In fact the landing one is dangerously high and someone could topple over the bannister trying to reach it. This really should be considered. Thank you for a great stay. We shall return!
