Beyond the on-site woodlands, meadows and waterways, and the excellent experiences – including holistic treatments, stargazing sessions and nature photography walks – rural and coastal Suffolk awaits exploration. The picture-postcard village of Cretingham lies close by, as do the charming towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge (all within 10 miles). Adults and children alike will enjoy uncovering Suffolk’s history with visits to Framlingham Castle and the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (both within 11.5 miles). Days beside the sea are also easily enjoyed, with Suffolk’s sandy coastline just a short drive away. Popular seaside spots include colourful Aldeburgh, the waterside village of Thorpeness, and Sizewell (all within 20 miles).
