A totally unique converted grain silos in Suffolk countryside, perfect for couples looking for a quirky option in a remote setting, yet just a 5-minute drive from Framlingham. The spacious and contemporary property was designed by an award-winning visual artist, and will surely provide lifetime memories.
These two converted silos are interconnected to offer an open living space in one silo, and a sleeping space in the second silo. The property exudes attention-to-detail and luxe touches throughout.
The two silos are connected via an entrance hallway. The living silo to the right comprises a cosy wood burning stove, a comfortable 2-seater sofa and armchair, dining table and seating for two, and a bespoke well-equipped kitchen. The sleeping silo benefits from a sumptuous super-king size bed, clothes storage, an en-suite shower room, and fantastic views of the surrounding private garden and land.
Original contemporary artworks and ceramics adorn the property throughout, including work by Sonia Delauney, Eduardo Paolozzi, William Kentridge, Sir Hugh Casson, Ian Tyson and others including framed pastel works by The Silos designer and builder, John Christie.
Set in a peaceful remote location, The Silos are still within walking distance to Framlingham, one of Suffolk's most beautiful and renowned market towns. With bike storage, barbecue, garden furniture and utility room in the grounds, a stay at The Silos has everything you could wish for, plus a few pleasant surprises.
