From the River Deben with its boat trips, you can embark on a paddle boarding or canoeing adventure, or simply spend time wandering along the pretty riverbank. For further thrilling activities, head to the local Twisted Oaks Bike Park (3.5 miles) to experience an adrenaline-pumping mountain bike adventure. A short distance away lies Woodbridge (6 miles), a thriving market town with harbour and a wealth of pubs & restaurants. A must visit location. Felixstowe is also just over 9 miles away and offers the traditional seaside resort and makes for a great day out. Other locations to add to your list may include Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, the very charming seaside village of Aldeburgh as well as Pin Mill on the River Orwell. and of course Orford Ness with with its links to the development of Atomic weapons.
