Witnesham Hall lies in an idyllic rural setting at the end of a no-through-lane on the edge of the village, 10 miles west of the attractive market town of Woodbridge. You can amble across the fields to the nearest pub, the Barley Mow which will only take 15 minutes. Woodbridge offers many historical landmarks including The Tide Mill and Sutton Hoo, if not enjoy one of the many riverside walks while feeding the ducks or indulge in some food at one of the lovely eateries including the Wild Strawberry Café or Whistle Stop Café.

The property is in an ideal location to visit the towns of Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Whether you are a bird lover, walker, music and art lover or simply wanting to relax, this area has an abundance of things to suit you.

Within an hour’s drive there are a wealth of places to admire such as Framlingham Castle,

Orford Castle or Snape Maltings which is the home of the Aldeburgh Music Festival. Otley Hall and Yaxley Hall are 2 beautiful properties to visit as well as the National Trust’s Ickworth House. Additionally, there is the stunning Helmingham Hall Gardens with its moat and 2 draw bridges which are still used every morning and night.
