The centre of Ufford is just a mile away and is home to the Uffa Brewery, a well-regarded golf course, and an excellent spa. For those wanting to explore this beautiful area on foot, the village is surrounded by a network of footpaths as well as a village heritage trail. For history lovers, Woodbridge, famous for its connection to Sutton Hoo, the most important Anglo-Saxon site in the UK, is a must-visit. This lovely riverside market town also offers a wealth of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. If you fancy a trip to the coast, Aldeburgh, a lovely seaside town famous for its first-rate fish and chips, is an easy 15-mile drive away. Here, visitors can meander along the promenade to the pebble beach where fisherman’s huts sell the daily catch.
